Gazipur bridge collapse leaves 4 dead

At least four construction workers were killed and another was injured as an old bridge during its demolition collapsed on them at Kapasia upazila in Gazipur district on Thursday. None of the deceased could be identified immediately. Local people and witnesses said a part of the dilapidated bridge fell on a group of construction labourers at about 8:30 am while they were doing the demolition work of it, leaving four of them dead on the spot and another injured. The critically injured labourer was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, according to UNB.
