Gazprom, Japan Co eye LNG plant in Russia

MOSCOW, April 26 (Reuters): Russia's top energy producer Gazprom and Japan Far East Gas Co consortium signed an agreement to conduct a feasibility study on possible construction of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Russia.
Gazprom also said Tuesday that the companies discussed the possibility of setting up a petrochemical plant near Russia's Pacific Ocean port of Vladivostok.
