Genex Infosys to sign deal with Banglalink Digital

Genex Infosys, a listed company, will sign an agreement with Banglalink Digital Communications.
The company's board of directors has taken the decision at a meeting held recently.
"Under this agreement, Genex will be managing the Customer Experience Operations for the Telecom Operator for the next five years," said a disclosure posted on the website of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
The disclosure said the agreement covers services the company has been providing since 2017, and that the entire scope has been enhanced and renewed for a further five years.
"From this project, the company is expected to generate revenue worth Tk 120 million per year."
Genex Infosys, presently an 'A' category company, was listed on the stock exchanges in 2019.
The company's sponsor-directors hold 31.68 per cent stakes, institutes 24.96 per cent, and the general shareholders 43.36 per cent as on July 31, 2022.
The company's share price remained unchanged on Wednesday as it closed at Tk 75.70 each on the DSE.
