Thursday, 27 February 2014

FRANKFURT, Feb 26 (AFP) :  Consumer confidence in Germany is still on the rise as households feel optimistic about their income expectations, a new poll found on Wednesday.
"Consumers remain optimistic," market research company GfK said in a statement.
"Income expectations were able to top, once again, the already very high level of the previous month. Consumers remain confident that the economy is recovering."
Overall, GfK's headline household confidence index was forecast to rise to 8.5 points in March from 8.3 points in February.
