German Feb harmonised annual inflation 1.2pc

BERLIN, Mar 14 (Reuters): Germany's consumer prices, harmonised to compare with other European countries, rose by 0.5 per cent in February from the previous month and were up by 1.2 per cent from the previous year, the Federal Statistics Office confirmed on Wednesday.
On a non-harmonised basis, consumer price inflation for February was also confirmed. The national index rose 0.5 per cent from January and was 1.4 per cent higher on the year.
