Get ready for 4IR, say speakers

Speakers at a function on Thursday suggested the readiness of Bangladesh to take part in the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) in a bid to keep pace with the world in the days ahead.
Giving details, they said the 4IR comprises many parts like Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Robotics, etc.
They were speaking at the concluding ceremony of a three-day conference on 'Mechatronics and Automation Technology Master Trainer Training against the backdrop of 4IR' at the Bangladesh Industrial Technical Assistance Centre (BITAC).
State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder was present as the chief guest. BITAC Director General Anwar Hossain Chowdhury presided over the programme.
