Get united to save country, Khaleda urges people

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Wednesday urged the people of all strata to get united to save the country from the destruction being carried out by the Awami League-led alliance government. “The current repressive regime is destroying the country. It has already destroyed the country’s banking sector and the economy,” she told an Iftar party. Khaleda further said, “We’ll announce our action plan after Eid-ul-Fitr. Jamaat-e-Islami, a key ally of the BNP-led 20 party alliance, hosted the Iftar party at a city hotel in honour of politicians, journalists and leaders of different professional bodies, according to a news agency.
