Getting rid of smartphone addiction
Wednesday, 27 July 2022
We cannot think of spending a single day without smartphones. From communication to education, entertainment to grocery lists, we rely on them for even the most basic tasks. However, experts have warned that a disproportionate dependence on smartphones can impair the brain's ability to retain information and obstruct the formation of new memories, which is a disorder known as digital amnesia.
According to experts, digital amnesia is a phenomenon, where our brain fast loses its ability to remember as we become increasingly reliant on technology to retain data. It can make people struggle to recall information. If we want to get rid of this disorder, we must reduce our smartphone addiction. Leading a healthy lifestyle with proper sleep, dietary nutrition and exercise can help us rid this addiction.
