Ghulam Azam buried

War crimes convict and ex-Jamaat ameer Ghulam Azam was buried on Saturday after his namaz-e-janaza at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. The Jamaat guru was buried beside his father at his family graveyard at city’s Moghbazar around 3:30pm. Earlier, his namaz-e-janaza was held after Zohar prayers around 1:50 pm at the national mosque amid tight security. His son Abdullahil Amaan Azmi led the janaza. Senior Jamaat leaders, including its acting ameer Mokbul Hossain and acting general secretary Dr Shafiqur Rahman, attended the janaza, according to a news agency.
