Ghulam Azam on life support

Former Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Ghulam Azam, who was sentenced to 90 years’ imprisonment unto death for masterminding atrocities during the 1971 liberation war, has been put on life support at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). Doctors at the hospital put him on life support around 10pm as his condition was critical, said jail super of Dhaka Central Jail Forman Ali, according to a news agency.
