GIFS delegation visits BARI

A delegation from Global Institute For Food Security (GIFS), Canada, visited Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) and held a meeting with BARI officials on Monday. BARI scientists and officers welcomed the GIFS delegation members. BARI Director General Dr. Debasish Sarker delivered a welcome address. Dr. Andrew Sharp, Bangabandhu Research Chair in Food Security of GIFS; Dr. Sreekanth Attaluri, Representative of GIFS, Bangladesh; Dr Ashutosh Sarker, Bangabandhu Research Chair, GIFS, BARC; Dr. AKM Mahbubul Alam, PSO, (Pulses Research Sub-Centre, BARI); Dr. Md. Mynul Islam, SSO, (Plant Pathology Division, BARI); Dr. Md Nurul Amin, SSO, (Biotechnology Division, BARI); Md. Hasan Hafizur Rahman, (Editor, BARI) and Pankaj Sikder (Photography Officer, BARI) were present on the occasion. The delegation expressed satisfaction at the activities and achievements of BARI.
