Girl killed \\\'by boyfriend\\\' in Ctg hotel

A young girl was slaughtered allegedly by her boyfriend in a room of a residential hotel in Station Road area of Chittagong city on Monday morning. The deceased was identified as Joytsna Begum, 21. Police arrested her boyfriend Zakir, a resident of Kishoreganj district, from the spot. Sub-inspector Kamruzzaman of Kotwali Police Station said the boarders of ‘Hotel Arafat’ called in police after hearing a hue and cry from a room of the hotel around 5:00am. On information, police recovered the slaughtered body of Joytsna and arrested Zakir with a sharp weapon around 5:30am. Later, the body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for autopsy. Joytsna and Zakir had rented a room in the hotel as husband-wife after Sunday midnight, claimed hotel sources, according to UNB.
