Girl raped by \\\'friend\\\' after coming with him to Dhaka

A minor girl has been raped after she came to Dhaka from Mymensingh ‘with a friend’. The girl, about 13 years, was rescued from a slum near Tejgaon Railway tracks on Friday morning, said Tejgaon Police Station’s OC Md Majharul Islam “The girl said her friend Al Amin had raped her.” She has been taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for a medical checkup. She came to Dhaka city with her friend on Thursday, said OC Majharul, quoting the victim. “They first went to Kamalapur. She could not properly recall how she landed in Tejgaon.” The child said, Al Amin fled after raping her. “We are trying to contact the girl’s parents,” said the OC. “A case will be filed soon,” according to bdnews24.com.
