GIZ to support shipbuilding cos

German Technical Cooperation (GIZ) will extend its support to shipbuilding companies willing to implement a comprehensive occupational and health safety system. The interest was expressed by GIZ at a seminar on occupational health and safety titled, ‘Impact 99 per cent: Together we can change’, jointly organised by GIZ and Western Marine Shipyard (WMSHL) at a city hotel on Tuesday. The German Health Practice Collection, launched at the seminar, selected the joint efforts by GIZ and WMSHL for improving occupational and health safety as the best practice in German Development Cooperation, according to a news agency.
