Global bi-cycle brand’s foray into B\\\'desh mkt

A global bi-cycle brand began its journey in Bangladesh by unveiling its logo at an event held in the city's upscale Gulshan area on Pahela Boishakh.
The former captain of Bangladesh national cricket team Raqibul Hasan, former player of national football team Sayed Hassan Kanon, former cricketer Javed Omar, National cyclist Swapan Alam, among others, were present at the programme, the company said in a release.
The organiser said two world brand bi-cycles-Giant and Specialist-along with their spare parts and accessories will be available in the Bi-cycle Shop BD.
Speaking on the occasion, the chairman of Bi-cycle Shop BD Architect Ahmed Riad said the company is committed to making world class cycles and local cyclists will from now on be able to choose their desired cycles from the shop.
