Global Ins Ltd approves 12pc dividend

The 22nd annual general meeting (AGM) of Global Insurance Limited was held on a digital platform recently, with Chairman of the company Sayeed Ahmed in the chair, says a press release.
At the AGM, the Directors' Report and audited accounts of the company for the year ended 31st December 2021 was adopted.
The meeting also unanimously approved 12 per cent cash dividend for the year 2021.
The shareholders expressed their deep satisfaction over the excellent performance of the company during the year 2021 and appreciated the management, including the chairman, for smoothly running the company.
Chief Executive Officer Md Mosharrof Hossain, in his welcome address, informed the shareholders that in spite of various obstacles in the insurance market, the company earned a handsome premium income.
Senior Consultant ABM Nurul Haq, Company Secretary Md Omar Faruk, CFO (CC) Md Ashraful Alam and a huge number of shareholders of the company participated in the meeting virtually.
