GM Zia earns four points in Asian Chess

Bangladesh Grandmaster Ziaur Rahman secured four points after the eighth round Open Section matches of the Asian Continental Chess Championships at Sharjah, UAE Thursday, reports UNB.
In the eighth round match, Zia conceded defeat to Grandmaster Krishnan Sasikiran of India.
In the Women Section of the meet, WFM Nazrana Khan Eva beat Nojud of Saudi Arabia. Eva earned 3.5 points after the eighth round matches.
