GMG resumes flight to New Delhi

Country's largest private carrier GMG Airlines resumed its flight from Dhaka to New Delhi from May 1, said a press release.
Re-entering New Delhi market is a part of GMG's expansion plan. The airline is going to offer the most competitive fair in the route compared to other local and foreign airlines.
Mr. Shahab Sattar, managing director of GMG Airlines said re-entering into New Delhi market is a big boost for the airline considering the large number of Bangladeshi people travelling to and from New Delhi.
"GMG will soon add more routes and procure aircrafts to meet the growing demands of passengers," said Mr. Shahab Sattar
GMG Airlines, the pioneer of private airlines business in Bangladesh, has taken a massive modernization project to accelerate its business growth. As a part of this project GMG has changed its logo in May of last year with new promises. To serve the increasing customers' demand GMG has added new plane in its fleet, launched new web portal and gradually introducing new flights in new routes.
In the process of modernisation, GMG in the very near future will manage electronic tickets via interfaces from a range of devices such as cellular phones, check-in kiosk, online check-in, boarding cards and baggage handling through Departure Control System.
GMG Airlines, owned by the industrial conglomerate Beximco, started operations on April 6, 1998. It began with domestic services and launched international flights in September 2004, with flights between Chittagong and Kolkata.
