GMs Zia, Razib share second slot with 8 other players

Two Bangladeshi Grandmasters Ziaur Rahman and Enamul Hossain Razib share the 2nd slot with eight other players in the 4th Kolkata Open International Grandmasters Chess Tournament '2009 securing 4 points after the 5th round matches in Gorky Sadan, Kolkata Saturday, reports UNB.
Indian GM Sandipan Chanda took solo lead in the meet collecting 4.5 points after the 5th round games.
In the 5th round matches, Enamul Hossain Razib drew with GM Safarly Eltaj of Azerbaijan, Ziaur Rahman beat FM Sahaj Grover of India.
Minhazuddin Ahmed Sagar of Destiny earned 2.5 points, GM Reefat Bin Sattar and FM Abu Sufian Shakil of Biman and Debaraj Chatterjee of Destiny earned 2 points each after the 5th round games.
In the other 5th round matches, Sagar lost to GM Tkachiev Vladislav of France, Debaraj lost to IM B.T. Murali Krishnan of India, Reefat drew with Matta Vinay Kumar of India and Shakil drew with Prince Bajaj of India.
