Gold fetches $1289.19 at 0400 GMT

The gold prices fetched $ 1289.19 at 0400 GMT today compared with $ 1,288.50 on Wednesday. Earlier, prices of the precious metal fluctuated between US $1,292 an ounce and $1,297.75 on the London Bullion Market on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to a news agency.
