Gold price falls by Tk 3,324 per bhori

The price of gold fell again by Tk 3,324 per bhori (11.664 grams) at the local market on Thursday, bringing down the rate of 22-carat gold at Tk 221,966, including vat.
The Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring of Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) took the decision at a meeting to lower the price.
On the other hand, the price of 21-carat gold has been cut by Tk 3,149 to Tk 211,993 per bhori while the price of 18-carat gold has been reduced by Tk 5,365 to Tk 182,075 per bhori and the price of traditional-method gold by Tk 2,158 to Tk 148,774 per bhori.
