Gold prices slump again

Gold prices in Bangladesh have dropped again in a span of three weeks after its value plummeted in the international market. Businesses fear the prices may dip further. Every 'bhori' (11.664 grams) of gold was priced at Tk 44,521, Bangladesh Jewellers Samiti (BJS) General Secretary Enamul Haq said on Thursday. The new prices will be effective from Friday, he said.
