Good liquoring Dusts dearer

The offerings were much smaller than the last few sales. There was a very strong demand for all varieties particularly the clean teas on offer which appreciated considerably. Blenders were very active as well as the Loose Tea buyers. There was only some interest from Pakistan. Good liquoring Dusts were substantially dearer following very strong competition.
CTC LEAF: 10,191 packages and 25 packages of Old Season on offer met with a very strong demand at dearer rates.
BROKENS: There was only a handful of clean Brokens available, which were keenly competed for and sold at Tk 4.00 to Tk 5.00 above tag levels and these could be quoted between Tk 105 and TK 112. Other varieties were also a dearer market.
FANNINGS: There was only a small weight of clean Fannings on offer and these met with a very strong demand and prices often appreciated by Tk 4.00 to Tk 6.00. These could be quoted between Tk 113 and Tk 118. The remainder were also a stronger feature and were mostly dearer.
CTC DUST: 2,067 packages and 8 packages of Old Season on offer met with an excellent demand. Few lines of good liquoring RD/Ds were very strongly competed for and were substantially dearer over last selling up to Tk 196. All others were also dearer. Blenders lnt useful support along with Loose tea buyers.
