Good liquoring dusts get a good market

The large quantity on offer was absorbed at slightly higher rates particularly the neat Brokens owing to quite strong demand from all sections of the market. Pakistan buyers were a little more active whilst Blenders/Packeteers lent strong support. Loose tea section was a little more active. Good liquoring Dusts were a good market.
CTC LEAF: 26,281 packages and (1,003 packages of Cld Season) met with quite a strong demand at slightly higher rates.
BROKENS: Well made Medium sized Brokens particularly the cleaner varieties were strongly competed for and were mostly a dearer market often by Tk 1.00 to Tk 2.00 and these realised between Tk 84 and Tk 90. Smaller varieties were about firm Plainer types were generally slightly easier.
FANNINGS: Well made Fannings were a strong feature and were generally dearer by Tk 1.00 to Tk 2.00 and these ranged between Tk 83 and Tk 87 Medium types were a steady market whilst plainer types were quite a good market.
CTC DUST: 4,070 packages and (222 packages of Old Season) on offer once again met with a good demand.
Good liquoring RDs/Ds continued to be a strong market and generally firm. Good liquoring CDs were about steady. All plainer varieties were mostly easier and were often neglected. Blenders and Packeteers along with buyers for Loose tea trade continued to lend a sueful support.
