There was again a sizeable quantity of end-season types but these met with a better demand. Good liquoring teas were in stronger demand from all sections of the market and a few lines appreciated in value in line with quality. Blenders operated in strength with more support from the loose teas section of the market. There was some buying account of Pakistan. Good liquoring Dusts were mostly dearer.
CTC LEAF: 25,116 packages of old season were on offer. There was a better tone whereby good liquoring teas were a stronger market and other varieties also met with an improved demand. There were also fewer withdrawals.
BROKENS: A few clean liquoring teas on offer were strongly competed for and were generally firm to slightly dearer and these could be quoted between Tk 127 and Tk 135.
