Goods delivery automation at Dhaka airport directed

Civil Aviation Minister Rashed Khan Menon on Wednesday directed the authorities concerned to introduce the automation system soon at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to curb irregularities and hassles in goods delivery operation. The minister made the directive while visiting the cargo village of the airport. Expressing dissatisfaction over harassment in cargo handling at the airport, he said, “The anomalies cannot be tolerated for day after day.”  The minister stressed the need for improving the goods delivery operation to international standard to ensure better services for common passengers, according to a news agency.
