Goodwill team leaves for Japan

A four-member Bangladesh goodwill delegation left Dhaka for Japan Tuesday morning to stand by its people affected by the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster, reports BSS. Food and Disaster Management Minister Dr M Abdur Razzaque saw the team off at the Kurmitola Air Force base. The delegation members are Director General (South Asia Pacific) of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Monirul Islam, Lt Col M Wahidul Islam, Lt Commander MA Sayeed of Armed Forces Division (AFD) and Col M Abdus Sobhan Chowdhury of Bangladesh Army.
