Gopal new chairman, Sarwar secy ofCtg ICAB

Gopal Bijoy Singh and Sarwar Uddin have recently been elected chairman and honorary secretary of the Chittagong regional committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) respectively, according to a press release.
Mr Gopal obtained his Master degree with Honours in Accounting from the University of Chittagong and qualified as Chartered Accountant in 1992.
He is a fellow member of ICAB and resident partner of Mohammad Shahidullah and Company Chartered Accountants in Chittagong.
He has experienced in various financial institutions in the fields of accounts, audit, income-tax and VAT.
He was born in Anowara, Chittagong in 1951.
On the other hand, Mr Sarwar obtained his graduation degree from Govt Commerce College in Chittagong and MBA degree from USTC in Chittagong.
He is a fellow member of ICAB and senior partner of Habib Sarwar and Company Chartered Accountants in Chittagong. He has served in various companies in the fields of accounts, audit, finance and tax.
He was born in Dagonbhuiyan, Feni in 1961.
