Gopalganj road crash kills one

GOPALGANJ, Aug 20 (BSS): A youth was killed in a road accident as a Nosimon, locally-made three wheeler vehicle, overturned on Gopalganj-Tekerhat road in Sadar upazila here on Monday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Md Hamim Khan, 17, hailed from Madhupur village in Sadar upazila.
Shahin Khan, brother of the deceased, said the accident occurred on Monday afternoon in the area while Hamim was going to Karpara for a football match boarded on the Nosimon.
He was rushed to Gopalganj General Hospital. Later, he was shifted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) as his condition deteriorated but Hamim succumbed to his injuries Monday night there, he added.
