Govt alerts public to fake PMB job

The government said Wednesday it did not take any step or published any advertisement to recruit any workers, employees and drivers for the Padma Multipurpose Bridge (PMB) project. An official handout said that the government recently had received allegations from different individuals and groups that some persons and organisations were collecting money from the public saying they would be 'appointed' to the Padma Bridge project area or other districts. It clearly mentioned that no step had been taken or advertisement published for any such move by the 'appointed contractors' or the Bangladesh Army.     — UNB
