Govt appoints new secretaries to PSC, health ministry

The government has appointed secretaries to the Ministry of Health and Family Planning, and the Public Service Commission (PSC) following resignation of their predecessors who obtained fake freedom-fighter certificates, reports bdnews24.com.
Shipping Secretary Syed Monjurul Islam will join health while public administration ministry's Additional Secretary Shahjahan Ali Molla has been made PSC secretary.
The public administration ministry made the announcement in two separate circulars on Sunday.
Former health secretary Niaz Uddin Mia and PSC's AKM Amir resigned on Nov 6.
BCS Administration Academy's rector Shafiq Alam Mehedi will replace Shipping Secretary Islam.
