Govt asked to explain legality of BGMEA hq building

The High Court has asked the government to explain why the BGMEA headquarters will not be demolished. The bench of justices Jubair Rahman Chowdhury and Farah Mahbub Sunday gave the suo moto ruling. It asked the public works secretary, Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) -- the capital's real estate regulator, BGMEA president, Dhaka district administration and the Dhaka Metropolitan Police commissioner to reply within two weeks. — dnews24.com
