Govt can\\\'t stop movement keeping BNP leaders in jail: Gayeshwar

Thursday, 20 March 2014

BNP leader Gayeshwar Chandra Roy has warned the government that it won’t be able to stop their movement by keeping their senior leaders in jail. “Bangabandhu had been in prison during the Liberation War. But the war had not stopped in his absence. Our leaders are now in jail. Our movement will also continue though some of our leaders are in jail,” the BNP standing committee member has said. He said Ziaur Rahman had won the heart of people by proclaiming the country’s independence. Terming the ruling party a ‘power-greedy’ party, he said, the ruling party knows it very well as to how to grab power. Gayeshwar was addressing a youth rally in the city, according to UNB.
