Govt distributes Tk 61.3m among distressed women

KHULNA, Nov 18 (BSS): The government has distributed Taka 61.3 million (6.13 crore) among 13,090 distressed women through the Department of Women Affairs in the past three years in Khulna.
Of them, Taka 5.18 million (51.84 lakh) were distributed among 6,480 mothers and children under 'Mother and Child Support Programme' and Taka 56.1 million (5.61 crore) were given to 6,610 women under microcredit facility programme.
