Govt extends parole of Koko by a month

The government Tuesday extended the parole of Arafat Rahman Koko, younger son of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, by a month, reports UNB.
According to the home ministry, the parole of Koko has been extended until November 16 on health ground after his lawyer AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon prayed for it Monday. Terms and conditions of the parole will remain the same.
Koko, who was released on two-month parole on July 17 on health grounds, is now undergoing treatment at a hospital in Bangkok.
Khaleda Zia, her elder son Tarique Rahman and younger son Koko were arrested on September 3, 2007.
