Govt giving priority to women's dev: Chumki

State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki said the incumbent government is running its all activities giving priority to the development of women, reports BSS.
"The ministry has already taken a number of projects for the empowerment of women. A diabetic hospital for women and children has been set up at Segunbagicha in the capital in collaboration with Women and Children Affairs Ministry and Bangladesh Diabetic Samity" said Chumki.
The state minister was inaugurating a 50-bed hospital on `women and children diabetes, endocrine and metabolic' at Uttara.
About 1,000 patients will get treatment from the hospital in a day, she added.
