Govt may extend ban on hilsa netting

Fisheries and Livestock Minister M Sayedul Haq on Thursday said the government is thinking of extending the duration of the ban on hilsa netting during its peak breeding season, the minister said this while addressing a seminar on Mother Hilsa Conservation Drive 2014 from October 5-15, according to a news agency.
