Govt moves to rehabilitate evicted small traders

BARISAL, June 20: The district administration here is taking steps for early rehabilitation of small traders affected in the recent eviction drives. Deputy Commissioner Manzoor-e-Elahi said they have received instruction from the Land Ministry for immediate rehabilitation of the traders evicted from market places and 'khas' lands. He said similar instruction was issued to all the districts. If necessary we will take help of the joint forces in rehabilitating the affected traders, added the deputy commissioner. — UNB
