Chief Adviser Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed Sunday told the outgoing Qatar Ambassador in Bangladesh Ibrahim Mohammed A Al-Abdulla that his caretaker government is moving ahead towards holding a free, fair and credible general polls in due time, reports UNB.brThe Ambassador made a farewell call on the Chief Adviser at his office when investment, manpower recruitment and bilateral cooperation were discussed.brDr Fakhruddin said Qatar could invest in Bangladesh availing of the attractive incentives offered by the government to foreign investors.brBangladesh need more investment to further boost its economy, he said.brAs the Chief Adviser wanted to know if there is currently any opportunity of employment for Bangladeshi workers in Qatar, the Ambassador replied in the positive. Fakhruddin requested the government of Qatar, through the Ambassador, to recruit more manpower from Bangladesh.brAbout 75,000 Bangladeshi workers are now employed in Qatar and Bangladeshi expatriate workers there are working well, it was told in the meeting.brThe Chief Adviser appreciated and thanked the Qatar government for promulgating a new law to ensure workers' rights. As a result, Bangladeshi workers are getting due facilities and benefits, he noted.br
