Govt mulls enacting law on SC judges

The government is considering enactment of a law on the appointment and qualifications of Supreme Court judges, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister told Parliament Monday. The law will be enacted in line with article 95 (2) of the Constitution, Anisul Huq said. "Effective steps will be taken soon to enact the law on the appointment and qualifications of the Supreme Court judges," he added. — UNB
