Govt mulls law to make solar panel on high-rise bldgs mandatory

The government is planning to enact a law to make it mandatory to install solar panels on all commercial and high-rise buildings in four proposed satellite cities.
State Minister for Housing and Public Works Advocate Abdul Mannan Khan disclosed this while speaking a roundtable discussion as the chief guest in the city Saturday, reports BSS.
Energy and Power, a magazine, organised the roundtable, which was presided over by Editor of the magazine Mollah Amzad Hossain.
Associate Professor of the Department of Architecture of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Shamim Ara Hassan presented the keynote paper at the roundtable.
