Govt needs to focus on SW region to achieve MDGs

KHULNA, Sept 7 (UNB): The government needs to focus on the country's southwestern part to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), as the impact of climate change is going to take its toll on the region.
Speakers told participants of an orientation programme in the district town Monday.
Management and Resources Development Initiative (MRDI) organised the programme under a project titled 'Millennium Development Goals and Budgetary Implications' with support from United Nations Millennium Campaign (UNMC).
