Govt not accepting IBBL donation

The government on Sunday said it is not accepting the donation of Tk 30 million from Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) for organising the ‘Lakho Kanthe Sonar Bangla’ programme on March 26 at the National Parade Square. "It can be said unequivocally that the government is not taking any financial assistance from IBBL for ‘Lakho Kanthe Sonar Bangla programme,” said a statement issued by the ministry of finance, according to a news agency.
