Saturday, 30 August 2014

NARAYANGANJ: BNP standing committee member Moudud Ahmed said Saturday the sensational Narayanganj seven-murder incident proves that the government is no longer in control of the law enforcement agencies.
Not only the leaders and activists of the ruling party, but also the officers of Rab are involved in the incident, and this proves that the law enforcement agencies are no longer under control of the government, he said, according to a news agency.
The BNP leader was addressing a rally organised in front of the district unit BNP office in DIT area of the city marking party’s 36th founding anniversary.
Moudud said the government has established a reign of terror with murders, forced disappearances across the country using the law enforcement agencies in the activities.
The BNP leader also observed that the people of the country will be deprived of justice if the power of impeaching judges is given back to parliament.
The rally was held with district unit BNP president Taimur Alam Khandaker in the chair.
