Govt out to destroy BNP to perpetuate power: Rafiqul

BNP senior leader Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mian on Thursday alleged that the government is conspiring to destroy their party in a bid to remove its barrier to hanging onto power forever. “The government is engaged in a conspiracy to annihilate BNP. They (govt) are trying to perpetuate power by destroying BNP,” he said. The BNP leader came up with the allegations while addressing a discussion arranged by Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) at the Jatiya Press Club, according to a news agency.
