Friday, 7 September 2007
Labour and Employment Adviser Mohammed Anwarul Iqbal Thursday asked authorities concerned to modernise the Technical Training Centres (TTCs) with updated curriculum and modern equipment, reports UNB.
He gave the directive at a meeting at the Labour and Employment Ministry conference room, considering huge demand for skilled manpower abroad.
Senior officials concerned were present at the meeting, chaired by the Adviser.
"The outside world has huge demand for skilled workers like nurses, RMG workers and different other technical personnel," he told the meeting on reviewing the possibilities of bringing the TTC project under revenue budget.
