Govt pledges to ensure more transparency in Hajj management

Religious Affairs Adviser AF Hassan Ariff Tuesday said the government is determined to bring up necessary reforms to ensure more transparency and accountability in the Hajj management process, reports UNB.
The adviser said this while discussing with some senior officials of the government who were imparting training in MATT-2 course organised by the Ministry of Establishment in the city Tuesday.
The officials apprised the adviser of the pilot programmes taken for the reforms of Hajj management.
The adviser assured all-out cooperation to implement the reform programmes.
He stressed the need for changing the mindset of those people specially the travel agency people, for better result.
He also underlined the need for introduction of checklists at different stages of Hajj procedure and urged to communicate the reform programmes to the pilgrims from rural areas.
