Govt reschedules educational institutes' timings

The Caretaker Government has fixed new timings for the country's all government and non-government schools and madrasahs. Under the new timetable, the educational institutions having only one shift from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, will now run from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm from March to August, while 10:00 am to 4:00 pm from September to February. The double-shift institutions will follow the previous school timings. Classes there will start at 7:00 am and close at 12:00 noon for the morning-shift students, while the day shift will start at 12:15 pm and close at 5:25 pm. —UNB
