Govt running country with ideals of Bangabandhu: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said her government is running the country with the ideals of Bangabandhu who made sacrifice in his whole life for the nation and worked with one and only vision to bring smile on the face of toiling masses. ‘My politics is also guided with the same principle of ridding the country of poverty and building a developed nation, upholding the dignity of Bangladesh abroad as a victorious nation,’ she said while addressing a programme in the city. The Prime Minister said Bangabandhu was killed as he was uncompromising on the question of the interest of Bangladesh and its people and wanted to change the lot of the people and worked for their welfare. ‘The sacrifice of Bangabandhu and our struggle would be successful if we can build a poverty and hunger-free Bangladesh,’ she said, according to a news agency.
