Govt should make protest of 160m against Israel heard by world: Manna

Tuesday, 22 July 2014

Observing that only registering protest against the Israeli genocide in Gaza at individual level is not enough, Nagarik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna on Tuesday said the government should reach the voices of 160 million Bangladeshis to the world. He came up with the observation at a human chain organised by Women for Governance and Sammilita Nari Samaj in front of the Jatiya Press Club protesting the Israeli aggression against the innocent civilians of Palestine. Manna suggested the government discuss the issue with friendly nations to stop the brutal Israeli attack on the innocent people of Gaza, according to a news agency.
